Our Origin Story

We’re Alissa and Rachel, two friends who go all the way back to school. Not our school days, but our kid’s school. It started out as many Mom friendships do. A hello in the hallways. Waiting in the pickup line together, chit chatting about schedules and screen time. Soon, we were hanging out while the kids were in school. Then, a deeper friendship blossomed, and we discovered we share a common dream. One that we could make very possible if we teamed up.

Going Professional

That dream turned into a goal which we made into a plan. First off, get accredited. Which we did. It was an intensive course and a lot of studying, but we built our foundation and can guarantee to our clients we have solid training in home staging.

Next, we created the business—Serenity Redesign and Staging, LLC. We chose the name because we aim to bring all things serene to the home staging process. We want the design to inspire serenity, and we want the sellers, the Realtors, and the buyers to feel at peace.

Living the Dream

We feel so privileged to work with amazing real estate professionals and homeowners in and around Chardon. It’s a fantastic community, a great home market, and a dream for us to help transform spaces. We started by helping friends and family, but have had so much joy in meeting new people and being an important part of the selling process.

We are experts at multi-tasking, anticipating needs before they’re asked for, de-cluttering, organizing, and making projects look amazing. We bring fresh eyes and original ideas to home staging in Northeast Ohio. We know how to overcome obstacles, plan for every scenario, and nurture a project from start to finish.
